Stability AI has just revealed a cool new AI tool called Stable Audio. With it, you can make high-quality music and sound effects just by typing what you want!

Here's the Scoop:

  • You can tell Stable Audio things like the type of music, which instruments to use, and the mood you're going for. It then makes full music tracks or different sound effects for you.

  • This is the first time Stability AI is doing something with audio. Before this, they were all about images and text. They're using a special approach called "open multi-modal AI" for this.

  • Want to try it? You can get a free 20-second sample. If you go for the Pro subscription, you can download 90-second tracks and even use them for business stuff.

Why You Should Care: This new tool by Stability AI is like a magic wand for creators. It can help musicians and others come up with new ideas super fast. But, just like with Ghostwriter977 (the AI that made music like Drake), there are questions about whether it's okay to use AI to make music. It's an exciting but tricky topic! 🎶🤔

Here’s a prompt if you want to a new approach to marketing - focused on emotion centric branding which cultivates your personas emotions towards buying your product.

The Big News: Unlike other tech giants making bold AI claims, Apple has been quietly using the tech to enhance basics in its new devices — with several low-key features announced at the Wonderlust event.

Key points:

  • Apple didn't mention "AI" in its announcements, contrasting with rivals like Microsoft and Google setting ambitious AI visions.

  • The iPhone 15 highlighted AI-related improvements for noise cancellation, blurring portraits, and predictive text.

  • In the latest Series 9 Watch, a four-core "Neural Engine" will power machine learning tasks, reportedly boosting Siri's accuracy by 25%.

Why it matters: Apple is keeping hushed on AI (for now) by labeling its AI-related updates as anything other than AI. But don’t count Apple out of the AI race just yet — they also have a ChatGPT competitor on the way and billions of consumers.

In a recent private gathering with some of the biggest names in tech, Elon Musk sounded the alarm on the potential dangers of artificial intelligence. At this closed-door Senate forum, which included tech giants like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, the topic of AI regulation was hotly debated.

Musk emphasized the "civilizational risk" that unchecked AI could pose. He urged for new oversight measures to ensure AI doesn't go astray and potentially harm humanity.

While the specifics of the discussions remain private, it's clear that the future of AI and its regulation is a pressing concern for these industry leaders.
